Rethinking Lebanon launches campaign to rebrand homeland
BEIRUT: ‘Rethinking Lebanon’ is launching a campaign inviting participants to take part in a competition to create a slogan that reflects the competitive advantages of Lebanon, ranging from its local cuisine and beverages to fashion and innovation.
According to ‘Rethinking Lebanon’, the slogan “should reflect the essence of Lebanon in terms of beauty, landscape, taste, hospitality, fashion, and culture.”
Through the competition, ‘Rethinking Lebanon’ seeks to engage Lebanon’s youth both at home and abroad in order to “rediscover what makes Lebanon unique and stand out as a country.”
The competition to come up with the “catchy slogan”, in association with the Ministry of Tourism, will run from February 6 till March 6, 2018, with the first, second and third place winner receiving LBP 4 million, LBP 2 million and LBP 1 million respectively.
