Hrair Kurdian has been involved in the implementation of the “Hima” concept in Anjar, a community-based approach to manage the local resources in a sustainable way.  His main objective is to protect ecosystems and biodiversity in his town, through reforestation projects and sustainable/ecotourism activities.
